GE Healthcare ▪ Buc
Technical writer for General Electric Healthcare. My duties include the creation and update of all technical documentation for GE Vascular X-Ray systems. This involves interfacing with the engineering team to produce the necessary documentation using tools such as the Content Engineering Management (CEM) system, Epic Editor, Photoshop etc.

The documentation is produced primarily in HTML format (source files XML) but also in paper format and delivered on a service DVD. Our Documention is formed using Modular documentation.

I have followed the evolution of the Innova range of systems and more recently the latest Discovery range, in particular, Pre-installation documentation.

Duties also include the documentations’ evolution through the GE workflow management system. During my employment at GE, I have given training courses on the use of our Content Engineering Management system and editing processes.

Technical writer ▪ 2000 - 2002
Thales Air Defense ▪ Rouen
Technical writer for the creation of troubleshooting manuals. These manuals were troubleshooting guides for the long range Master M radar system.
My duties included the analysis of the radars sub-units circuit diagrams. Then, the creation of troubleshooting flow charts which would allow engineers to test the units circuit board/s components until the defective component was located.
After this analysis, I created the first draft troubleshooting manual for the sub-unit. With the dedicated technician, I followed-up the drafts until completion. This was repeated for all the sub-units which constituted the radars' receiver chain and frequency generation functions.
This system was destined for the Swiss Air Force as part of Project Florako.

My duties involved Liaison between engineering and the documentation team.
The aim of this project was to update and improve the existing documentation, including Theory of Operation, Principles of Operation and Replacement and Repair procedures.

This involved analysis of existing documentation and examination of the radar hardware present on site.
The end result would then be reviewed by engineering and members of the Danish military.
